Achievements :

In 1994 won election for GOA Assembly by a record margin of 7580 Votes. This is the hightest margin achieved by a winning candidate for GOA Assembly so far.

IT e- Governance :

The road ahead for GOA in the field of IT & e-Governance was first presented by Adv. Dayanand G Narvekar before the Government Of India.
IN 2007 GOA State Won Data Quest e-Governance award for exemplary Achievement in e-Governance.

Health Sector :

Two new Hospitals comprising Bed Strength of 1000 Beds has been set up in year 2005-06 in GOA. Both the Hospitals has latest equipment including MRI Facility, Health Check up and Mobile van. Health spending of GOA Govt. for 2005-06 has exceeded by RS. 200 Crores outside the budgetary provisions.
IN 2005-06 GOA State was adjudged as Best State In Health by India Today.
